In life, things tend to become repetitive. It’s inevitable. People form habits due to certain reasons and these habits sometimes stick for so long even when the originating reason is no longer there. This is why people need a reason that will stick, that they can depend on. This dependable reason or meaning is searched for everywhere. Some people find meaning in religion, other’s find meaning in being productive in work or vocational activities, while other find meaning in a romantic relationship. And this is what makes life worth living. I find meaning in going on vacation. This is why going on a vacation can actually save my life. Well, at least that’s what I tell my boss whenever I’m going on an island adventure trip. Just recently, I spend a whole week in Barbados. It was one of the most awesome island experiences I have ever had. Here is my review of the island from my affordable Barbados travel experience.

One of the first things I did was to book my flight months before the flight date. This saved me lots of money. Airliners usually get discounts for early booking because this makes it easier for airliners. This was the biggest reason why I had an affordable Barbados travel experience.

When I got to Barbados, I was very surprised. I have been to other island countries in the Caribbean. They were far from what Barbados was. The country is doing very well. Most ex colonies do not do as well as Barbados is doing now. Plus, the island is so beautiful, the waters are so blue. It actually looks like crystal clear pool water. And the white sand beaches are absolutely gorgeous. I just biked along from beach to town for a really affordable Barbados travel that also helped me soak up the ambiance of the relaxing island atmosphere.

Aishwarya Rai is probably the highest paid Bollywood actor to date. She has established herself as one of the most pre-eminent leading lady and has worked her way to the hearts of millions of fans. Her poise, grace, and beauty reflect true class. She was soon India’s most famous model, getting the much coveted slot as in a Pepsi ad campaign and getting on the cover of Vogue Magazine.

Top directors from Bollywood lined up to cast her in their films. Her first film, “Iruvar” by Mani Rathnam got great reviews from critics and her work in her second film “Aur Paar Ho Gaya” got her the Best Female Actress Debutante Award in 1997. She then got the Best Actress award by FilmFare and Zee Cine in 2000 for her performance in “Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam.” The list of her awards goes on and on.

Finally in 2002, she worked once more with Sajay Leela Bhansali, the director of “Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam.” Their new movie, “Devdas” was perhaps their most ambitious one yet. It paid off and became the most successful movie in Bollywood till the present time. It was a box-office record breaking film in terms of revenues and was the first Bollywood film to ever have been privileged to a special screening at the Cannes Film Festival. Elley calls Aishwarya as "almost Audrey Hepburn-like", Baz Luhrmann, the director of Moulin Rouge says, "I loved her in Devdas." She was even hailed as "the world's most beautiful woman" by non other than the pretty woman herself, Julia Roberts.

Aishwarya Rai is the best ever. I've seen many other hot Indian models, but she takes the cake. (yup, the cake).
